11. Cole Aldrich (Kansas) – New Orleans Hornets.. 125 blocked shots (KU record) , all twelve first teamer 08-09, 09-10. He’s an outstanding defensive player and really the most effective in screening and pick and roll basketball.
12. Xavier Henry (Kansas) – Memphis Grizzlies… 483 points, most points by a KU freshman, 2009-10 All Big 12 honorable mention. He’s a very good athlete. Henry is more of a stand still jump shooter but needs to attack more off the dribble.
13. Ed Davis (North Carolina) – Toronto Raptors… missed last 13 games of season. His father Terry Davis played 10 seasons in the NBA. Ed Davis is a high volume rebounder but doesn’t have a lot of post moves.
14. Patrick Patterson (Kentucky) – Houston Rockets… 09-10 All SEC first team, 09-10 SEC All defensive team. He’s a strong low post power forward with a 7’1 wingspan. He can guard in the post but must improve his ball handling skills.
15. Larry Sanders (Virginia Commonwealth University) – Milwaukee Bucks… This player can block shots and rebound well. He’s very coachable but still needs to learn the game. He’s only been playing organized ball for six or seven years.
16. Luke Babbit (Nevada) – Minnesota Timberwolves… 2009-10 WAC Player of the year. He led Nevada in scoring and rebounding both his freshman and sophomore season. He’s very skilled and really competitive in the game. He’s also a great shooter with terrific range.
17. Kevin Seraphin (France) – Chicago Bulls… He’s an outstanding rebounder and shot blocker with great athletic ability. He still needs a lot of polish. He was also the first international player taken in the draft this year.
18. Eric Bledsoe (Kentucky) – Oklahoma City Thunder… He does a really good job when he guards the ball but must improve his point guard skills.
19. Avery Bradley (University of Texas) – Boston Celtics… 09 ESPNrise.com high school national player of the year. He excellent on ball defending and is going to be able to mature into a point gurad. He’s a catch and shoot guard righ tnow.
20. James Anderson (Oklahoma State) – San Antonio Spurs… Big 12 player of the year.. He is a great shooter and possibly the best shooter in the draft. He was honestly too talented to drop this far down the list. He just needs improvement on creating his own shots. But with Tim Duncan, plenty of shots will be handed to him.
21. Craig Brackins (Iowa State) – Oklahoma City Thunder… He’s had 31 career double doubles in his career and scored 42 on Kansas. Anyone who can score that much on Kansas is a great player in the making. He needs to improve on his passing though.
22. Elliot Williams ( Memphis) – Portland Trailblazers… Williams has excellent potential as a defender.
23. Trevor Booker (Clemson) – Minnesota Timberwolves… He was the first senior drafted this year, which makes this the lastest the first seniors has ever been drafted. He’s really strong and really athletic. An outstanding offensive rebounder, he needs to improve his free throw percentage and his face to face game.
24. Damion James (Texas) – Atlanta Hawks… He’s an athletic rebounder and long arm defender. he loves to drive to his left and averages 10 or more rebounds a game. His strengths are running the floor and defending different spots.
25. Dominique Jones (South Florida) – Memphis Grizzlies… He’s a better player than he is an athlete. He’s an outstanding scorer and has terrific strength. He’s not exactly a great shooter, he just understands how to score.
26. Quincy Pondexter (Washington) – Oklahoma City Thunder… played 136 games (most in UW history). He’s a solid finisher and prefers driving right.
27. Jordan Crawford (Xavier) – Atlanta Hawks..He’s known more for his dunk over LeBron than his actual game. However, he does score well.
28. Greivis Vasquez (Maryland) – Memphis Grizzlies.. This was one story that touched a lot of people because of the emotion he displayed when his name was called. This All American guard is a dominant scorer and his high energy will make him loved by many.
29. Daniel Orton (Kentucky) – Orlando Magic… Some speculate that his early entrance into the draft may have been a mistake.
30. Lazar Hayward (Marquette) – Washington Wizards… He’s an unconventional power forward who is drastically undersized. However, he is steady and consistent.
