Phil Jackson is trying to figure out exactly what’s what with his health to see if he can actually return another seaosn withe the Lakers without having to exit mid season such as Denver Nuggets coach George Karl. Karl had to abandon Denver due to throat and neck chemotherapy and radiation. Phil Jackson has two replaced hips, a sore knee and a previous heart problem.

He has a 70.5% regular-season winning percentage and a record 225 postseason victories and two more titles than Boston’s Red Auerbach. He also said in a press conference that his total 13 championships is a hard number to stop at. At the time he’s going to be out of touch during his two month vacation at his lakeside home near Glacier National Park, while players and management have continued to lobby for his return.
