Nets: Free Agency Fever..0

New jersey Nets traded Yi Jianlian to the Washington Wizards for Quinton Ross this past Tuesday. This moved freed up another $3 million cap space for free agency season. The Nets should now have $30 million in cap space. To sign agents like James and Wade a team would need $33.14 million under the cap to sign two max contract free agents. Nets are close but no cigar.

Yi was the number 6 pick in the 2007 draft by Milwaukee and has already been traded twice. He’s bee plagued by injury which held his games played at 51. Nets probably found his replacement when drafting Derrick Favors, but might target another power forward in free agency. Free Agency season is getting more and more interesting every day.
