<span id=Chris Bosh Checked Out???"/>

Tis the season to bash the newcomers of South Beach by their previous teams I guess. First, it was LeBron James getting torn apart by the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dan Gilbert. Now, General Manager of the Raptors, Bryan Colangelo, is speaking out about how he felt Chris Bosh checked out during the last six games with Toronto. Now he is unsure whether it was a mental lapse in judgment or Bosh felt as if he really should not play. This does not keep him from speaking his mind.

“Whether he was mentally checked out or just wasn’t quite into it down the stretch, he wasn’t the same guy.”

“I’m not even questioning Chris’ injury. I’m telling you he was cleared to play subject to tolerance on his part, and the tolerance just apparently wasn’t there and he chose not to play.”

These were statements Colangelo made on 590 The Fan on Monday.  So what do you think? Is this just another GM gone mad or does Bosh’s decision not to play speak volumes about his free agency bonanza??

    I’m tired of these bitter owners coming out and talking about players because they don’t want to play for their teams anymore…

    totally agree with philly11 these owners & GM’s are just bitter….the fact is these players want RINGS just like magic & MJ; theres nothing wrong with wanting to win…the Gm’s & owners should’ve did their job to bulit a good team

    Chris Bosh couldn’t wait to leave Toronto, Chris is a good guy and a genuine top 5 power forward in the NBA, he never had the type of supporting cast to maximize his skills on the Raptors, and by the end of the 2009-2010 season, Chris COULDN’T WAIT to be a free agent. Now, i do not think Bosh would intentionally “check out” of the game, but i do believe, more than any other free agent who got signed, he DID NOT want to make the playoffs with the Raptors because he knew he was going to leave, so it wouldn’t make sense to enter the playoffs with a team that had no chance whatsoever to even compete for a championship.

    If there is any player who i am happy for in this free agency it is Chris Bosh, the Heat will be good, but they still won’t beat the Lakers ;)

    Well, maybe Toronto should have gave him a better supporting cast. He is an elite player and needs something to work w/ and therefore he may hav been eager to go and get that help… now i honestly dnt kno if he gav up on them or whatever but i jus saw NO future in him stay w/ the Raptors…
