For anyone that follows the Hip-Hop culture and NBA, we know that Jay Z and LeBron James had a VERY close relationship up until last month. Now someone extremely close to them has confirmed their friendship has become incredibly STRAINED and Jay Z is HOT!!
Why do you all suppose Jay is mad with LeBron? Well it seems just like the Cavs owner, Jay feels entitled… Entitled in the sense of loyalty. Jay Z was suppose to be able to bring stars to the Nets- or at least have access to them. And during the time LeBron was making his decision, its said he didn’t even take Jay Z calls. This made Jay Z look like couldn’t deliver to the Nets management.
Now this is all according to everyone’s favorite celeb gossip site Media Takeout… So take the validity of this story with a grain of salt.
But if it happens to be true, this looks like Jay may actually have to do work next time to pull in stars to his team. In any business situation you can’t rely on a “friendship” to close deals.

I can see why jay would feel some type of way if lebron didn’t answer/hit jay up but on the other hand I know jay didn’t think cause they was “boys” that he had the advantage of gettin lebron to play for the nets especially with that roster & havin no other big name there. So at the end of the day I’m sure jay know its just business nothin personal & that’s something he has to respect……. SN: I think the media is makin this bigger than it really is
Ballhead thanks for making that point! The Nets have no one on there roster worth playing with! I honestly can’t name one person on that team. They haven’t been worth playing for since Kidd left and if LeBron would’ve left Cleveland for them, LeBron really would see no championship in site.

Don’t believe this story at all. After the shit Hov has done to Dame and alot of other people I doubt he would feel a certain way toward Lebron about making the best decision that benefits himself and the rest of his career..

The thing is we never heard jay said he was upset but the media are going by what they think and what the first thing they think is Jay-z must be upset but there have not been reports of him saying anything and trust if Jay didn’t like someone no more he’ll let folks know with all the beefing he deal with those rappers and he said before he will never pressure hin to go on his team of course they will make an offer like anyone else but what ever he choose his cool with it now there is proof him saying that all I ahve to say is fuck what these stupid folks are saying and wait for Jay or Lebron to speak then we can talk

Plus Jay-Z is not a recuriter his just part owner of a baseketball team what ever the intettion of Nets giving him a peiece of the company all because they thought he can draw attetion for players to be on their team that’s their prolbem Jay-Z was in for the money not to play pick me pick me so blame that shit on someone else.

yup yup this story was posted 1st posted by Media Takeout and then some other concrete news outlets followed after. We couldn’t be left out lol. But yeah I completely agree with you they aren’t the most reliable source to get news from.
