So, most of you must be wondering the exact same thing media everywhere was when they heard that Jordan was turning to Kwame Brown again to fill a slot in the Charlotte Bobcats. Why, why, WHY??? One would think that after the phenomenal bust these two were together in Washington, where Brown was labeled a rookie failure and Jordan was labeled another superstar who should not own a team, they would continue to stray away from the idea of joining forces again. Well public, we were wrong. The Bobcats have come to a deal with Kwame Brown worth $1.3 million dollars and he is reported to sign tomorrow.
So, why exactly is this move being made? It comes at a time when Bobcats center court became a little spaced after trading Tyson Chandler to Dallas. However, even with this fans cannot understand why Jordan deemed it necessary to turn to Brown who has been bounced from team to team in the previous years of his career and made nothing more than a hiccup in Detroit playing with the Pistons last season. Maybe he knows something we do not. At least I hope so, because if this does not turn out well for the Bobcats there will be plenty of naysayers waiting at the finish line aching to say, “I told you so.”
