Los Angeles Lakers player Matt Barnes was arrested Wednesday on a felony domestic violence charge.

According to the Sacramento Bee, police responded to an incomplete 911 call from a residence around 4:15 p.m., where they encountered Barnes and a woman. The name of the woman was not released, but she was described as someone “who lived with him and with whom he had a dating relationship.”

Both Barnes and the woman had visible injuries, but the basketball star was taken into custody after police determined he was the primary aggressor.

Barnes, 30, was booked on suspicion of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line. He posted a $50,000 bond and was released around 9:40 p.m., police said.
