There were quite a few speculations as to how tonight’s game was going to end. Many were betting on the opinion that the Orlando Magic team was going to crush Miami Heat’s seemingly uncoordinated roster. Seems like the critics were wrong again as the Heat dictated the direction of the game for a majority of each quarter and defeated Magic with a impressive 96 – 70 final score.

In the first half of the game, Orlando seemed to have a steady flow of drawn fouls and jump shots. Dwight Howard was continuously penetrating his defenders and even if he did not make the shot he intended, his free throw percentage was a lot better than it has been. Offensive rebounds were also playing a hefty role in their success. Both teams seemed to have a great rhythm and were handling the ball with an aggressiveness that usually can only be found in the Playoffs.

However as the game went on, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade made it perfectly clear that they had been working on their on court relationship and were feeding off of each other’s energy and playmaking ability. Wade took his team by the reins, while James and Bosh played perfect supporting roles which are what this team needs in order to keep running smoothly. Not to mention, Arroyo, Ilgauskas and House were also key players tonight’s win. These guys stepped up in a major way, letting the Big 3 know that they were not in it alone. Eddie House performed beautifully and his stroke was put on display for the world to see.

Maybe Vince Carter going down or Dwight Howard fouling out had something to do with Orlando’s loss tonight. In any event, Miami sure did Heat up South Beach tonight! (Pun intended J)
