<span id=Miami’s injury woes"/>

Before the season even began Miami Heat was plagued with injury, and not to players who were just second thoughts to the roster. Mike Miller was announced to be out until at least late December due to a fracture and ligament damage to his right thumb that he acquired during a practice run with King James himself. Dwyane Wade was not a picture of health either as he obtained a hamstring injury, leaving him less than helpful to the Heat in the preseason.

The future looks cloudier an cloudier with each week, because Miami’s Udonis Haslem was not only taken out of the game due to injury, but he was carried off the court during the Heat vs. Grizzlies (which Miami ultimately loss due to Rudy Gay’s buzzer beater). Though, X-rays came back negative for any serious damage, teammates still believe Haslem will be out for a while, which will no doubt hurt their win – loss ratio. With Dwyane Wade’s sprained wrist, it is up to the rest of the team to fill these men’s shoes. Boy oh Boy! What a responsibility!
