Even though the Thanksgiving holiday seems like a bigger defining moment for College Basketball and Football than the pros, there are still some who have a scope on the Heat. With all the news and parties surrounding the assembly of the Big 3 in South Beach, a lot of people are starting to lose faith in their once projected Michael Jordan and the Bulls record. What everyone has to understand is that it is still early in the season. Fourteen games in is rarely a prediction to the outcome of the season in my eyes. However, since Miami pummeled Orlando in their first meeting weeks ago, it is only right that they handle them accordingly tonight. If not, there will be more speculation tossed at this roster.

But, there will be ample reason as to why they lost, if that is what happens. First of all, Wade’s injury. He played the worst game of his career scoring only three points in the game against the Indiana Pacers due to a sore wrist. Seems as if they cannot catch a break because Haslem will not be active either. He is the inside veteran of the Heat who takes care of the “dirty work” and rebounds. He is probably the most passionate on the team and there is extreme doubt that there is another player who can substitute his potential on the court. Let’s not jump the gun. Just watch the show!
