After grabbing Griffin by the jersey and slinging him over to the side, Davis ran up to defend his teammate after seeing more purple and gold jerseys surrounding the team’s leading man. As a result of the melee under the hoop the four men were ejected from the game. Luckily, the Clippers needed neither of the players assistance as they left the game with a 99 – 92 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers team, snapping their seven game win streak.
