Of course that is the last thing you want to hear as a New York fan. That you’re newly recruited king is suffering from right elbow pain. He informed his coach that the pain stemmed from a lingering bursa sac problem. But, much to the dismay of any South Beach resident and every Lebron fan in the nation, he has made a guarantee that he will be playing and starting against the nation’s newest Big 3.

An underrated rivalry between the Knicks and the Heat, which blossomed from Pat Riley’s departure from New York for Miami, has just been turned up a notch with Anthony’s arrival which he and Amare Stoudemire understand fully. Maybe Anthony’s left-handed shots will be enough to help will NY past Wade and James’ dominant transition speed. Maybe Chauncey Billups aka Mr Big Shot will help the cause with his efficiency and clutch gene. Either way the cookie crumbles, the game will be a clash of the league’s finest and whoever comes out on top will still have a lot to prove.
