Cleveland has agreed to take Baron Davis from the Clippers and his huge $14.8 million contract.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will send Jamario Moon and Mo williams to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Los Angeles Clippers will also send the 2011 first round draft choice to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Baron Davis’ contract is worth $28 million and is partial/non-guaranteed for the final year and is still owed $13 million for this season.
Mo Williams has two years and $17 million left on his contract with the final year being a player option (8.5 million) and is still owed $9.3 million.
Differences in the salaries would be absorbed by the trade exception from Lebron James’ extend-and-trade to Miami.
Jamario Moon has $3.19 million left on his contract which is also a team option.
Los Angeles Clippers are giving up a top 10 first round draft choice for 2011.
Looks like Cleveland are on their way making moves to begin the serious rebuilding they need. Is this a good move for the Clippers???

Baron Davis is not happy at all about being traded to Cleveland and it has yet to be seen if he will even be in a Cavaliers jersey for the second half of the season.
