They may be at least a year removed from playing in the professional league, but last night a majority of the McDonald’s All American players were putting on a show that had NBA scouts salivating over the young men. Doc Rivers’ (Boston Celtics head coach) son, Austin Rivers, was one of the young men who showcased the skills that he will be taking to Duke University in the upcoming season. [..]
While watching highlights of the Miami Heat vs. Washington Wizards game, I saw LeBron make another amazing steal and turned it into a huge offensive play on the other end of the court, with the help of Eddie House. When watching him play, it makes you realize how influential he is to the pace of any game he and you are reminded of why he was so effective in Cleveland.
Even with all of that said, will he ever be able to return to his hometown to be crowned the greatest player in Cleveland Cavaliers franchise history?
When it comes to JayZ aka Sean Carter, he has always been about his business. He has become a mogul in his own right and dabbles in every money making venture you could imagine. Even in basketball, as he is a minority owner of the New Jersey Nets. Which brings us to the dilemma on his hands tonight. Being a part of the New Jersey Nets franchise and just achieving the virtually impossible by acquiring Deron Williams, has to make you feel a little great. But, facing off against your hometown team, the New York Knicks, may tug at his heart strings a little bit. [..]

Here’s a list of few good young players that I think will help carry the NBA into the next era. These young guys all have tremendous upside. If you guys can think of anyone else, please leave in comments.
Nick Young of the Washington Wizards, is my pick for The NBA’s “Most Improved Player” Award. Nick Young has increased his scoring average from [..]
Tony Parker was born on May 17, 1982; in Bruges, Belgium and was raised in France. At 6’2″; 185 lbs., a 19 yr old Tony Parker was selected 28th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2001 NBA Draft. Tony Parker was the youngest player ever to debut as a Spur.
Parker immediately showed that he could play with the top Guards in the league, after initially backing up Antonio Daniels. [..]
10. LeBron, how does it feel going back to Cleveland knowing how the fans feel about you now?
Give it up. He has already played there and outworked the entire team. Professionally, he has answered that question plenty. Personally? We will never truly know because James does not seem like the type of guy to wear his heart on his sleeve. He expresses his condolences for their season and that should be that. He hasn’t been a Cavalier for a while now. I’m sure he’s quite used to the fans’ animosity. [..]
I didn’t expect to see the amazing turn around from Carmelo coming in the second half. Honestly, I was still expecting to see him play like he had been all night. Not just that, but most expected the Knicks to drop another game. Especially in the presence of Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic, who are just as dangerous outside the three-point line as Anthony himself.
That didn’t happen. Last night the Knicks played with a chip on their shoulder and they very well should have. There is no excuse for how they have been allowing teams to dominate them on the boards and defensively. What was the difference against Orlando? [..]
