10. LeBron, how does it feel going back to Cleveland knowing how the fans feel about you now?
Give it up. He has already played there and outworked the entire team. Professionally, he has answered that question plenty. Personally? We will never truly know because James does not seem like the type of guy to wear his heart on his sleeve. He expresses his condolences for their season and that should be that. He hasn’t been a Cavalier for a while now. I’m sure he’s quite used to the fans’ animosity.
9. What do you think about the Miami Heat Big 3?
Players were sick of this question before the season even started. I became sick of this question in the month of December when every opponent that the Heat was facing was asked. No one that is truly passionate about their craft wants to be told time and time again that the person/people they are going against are a bigger story than themselves. It is clear that they are not unstoppable, so let’s stop pretending that these supermen have no kryptonite.
8. How is age playing a factor into your game?
Doc Rivers went straight to the Finals with his “old” team, so I”m pretty sure he doesn’t feel like they need to be wheeled off the court anytime soon. Injuries have been immense, unfortunately, for the Celtics. And there is a bit of an age issue on the squad with their three best players having 104 years between them. But, still being considered the favorite to come out of the East should mean something. Shouldn’t it?
7. Kobe, what’s wrong with the Lakers?
He was tired of people questioning the Lakers elite level and decided to step to the front of the line to shut almost everyone up. Los Angeles was excited about one team, the Clippers, and scratching their heads about another, the Lakers. Bryant must have suspected that this question would be soaring in along with the many trade talks that swirled around the team for a short period of time. Still, his frustration with the attention on the team’s mishaps and minor slump showed plenty during interviews post and pregame.
6. Derrick Rose, how does it feel that the Chicago Bulls are relevant again like they were when Jordan was playing?
Really? Do you really want to put this kind of pressure on this man before he even hits the playoffs? To compare his performance and value to Chicago to Michael Jordan is enough to make anyone’s knees weak with pressure. Luckily, he doesn’t seem like the type to buckle to easily. However, playing with the Chicago Bulls and being considered for the MVP award after such an applause-deserving season, he won’t be able to avoid the comparison.
5. What do you think happened tonight?
“WE LOST!” That’s probably what every player wants to say after they have lost a game. No one wants to sit there and trade mistakes with the media. They just want to shower, change clothes and go home. That is not the time we live in. I think post game interviews for the teams that lost are just fishing expeditions to get some type of reaction. A competition to see who can ask the question that will ultimately push the star player’s button.
4. Who do you think will win MVP this year?
Think about it. You’re asking players, most of which will definitely not be mentioned in the race, which player they think outperformed them this season. I don’t know about anyone else, but I sure wouldn’t want to be asked who I thought was a better player than me.
3. How did it feel to play against Blake Griffin?
He is a rookie! These men have been grinding for years and you ask them how it feels to play alongside a rookie. Not just any rookie. But, a rookie with the propensity to dunk directly on your head at any given moment in a game. When this question was asked for the first couple of months in the season, I was seriously waiting for someone to say, “You should be asking Blake Griffin how it feels to play against me!”
2. Andrew Bynum, how do you feel about your future in Los Angeles?
He’s been called everything from a disappointment to dead weight for LA, but up until this season, everyone was willing to be patient and wait for him to continue to develop in the league. That patience has run out. Now, he is constantly being pointed at as the only removable issue that the Lakers have. It’s not fair but that’s the state of the game. There is no time for you to get better. Either you play well now and every moment after, or you face uncertainty.
1. New York Knicks players and Denver Nuggets players, how do you feel about the Carmelo trade?
There comes a point in life where you hear key words in a sentence and just zone out. This question has that effect on players. Especially those on the Denver team. Even after proving that there is life after Melo, people still, and will for a long time, associate the success of the franchise with Carmelo Anthony. However, it seems to me like the pieces around him were more important than his personal contribution because even aligned with another star in NY, Anthony struggles while his former home team flourishes in his absence.

I agree with these questions. Nobody should be bothered with them anymore. We all know that every team goes through ups and down. Though that question about Lebron we all know that city hold a grudge. He could have handled the situation way better.
