Nick Young of the Washington Wizards, is my pick for The NBA’s “Most Improved Player” Award.  Nick Young has increased his scoring average from 8.6 in the 09″-10″ season, to 17.6 this season; which is a 9.0 increase.  The 2nd highest in the league next to Dorell Wright of the Golden State Warriors, who had a 9.5 increase.  Nick Young has been the consummate professional, bringing his game every night on a team with the worst road record in the league; and a 17-55 record overall.  Nick Young, a 6’7″ shooting Guard from USC, is in his third season in the league.

GM’s around the league need to pay attention because dude can flat out score the basketball. BM1 out ]]+++

  3. SirRoc says:

nah he is on a losing team the most improved player will most likely be russell westbrook all of his avgs went up and he is on a team that is a contender and large part because of his ascension in to top pg’s in the league

  4. boemoney says:

Russell Westbrook is already considered a good player having averaged 15ppg in his 1st yr and 16ppg in his 2nd yr, and this yr 22.2 so from last year, to this year his scoring avg increased 6.0pts,and he was at 8 assists and now 8.3 not much .If we pick like that then why not D.Rose? Nick went up 9pts from last yr.

  6. Jenni says:

That’s a good choice. If his point average is going up he’s doing something right. 9 points is great improvement. Im glad you guys picked someone who deserved it and not somebody with more popularity.

  7. Ms.1 says:

I totally agree with Jenni. I love the way you guys always show love to the underdogs.
