Google Me!  Baller of the Week

Height/Weight: 6’1/190 lbs

Position: Guard

College: Arizona State

Draft Year: 2000 (2nd round, 8th pick) Miami Heat

Eddie House has paid his dues and made his rounds in the league, but you know what they say. You will always find your way home and after almost eleven years, House’s carousel traveled from and back to Miami to play along side Lebron James and Dwyane Wade. But, with the star power so heavy on the team’s roster, and a preseason celebration turning up the spotlight, how does he manage to stay relevant? He has an underlying clutch three-pointer that is highly underrated and when he goes up for the shot his release is so crisp and clean that you wonder where else the ball can go other than straight through the net.

His alma mater, Arizona State, still carries his legend on their backs as he is the record holder for field goals and steals. He also set the bar for the single season scoring average and college career points with 2,044. He was one of the most influential players that have ever attended Arizona State and although his professional career has not been as glamorous, he still shows glimpses of his past when he steps on the floor.
