Earlier this week Rudy Fernandez was spotted on the website for his part in the Three Goggles phenomenon.( http://www.iamnba.com/2011/03/three-goggles-phenomenon/), but now he will be spotlighted for his contributions to his team as they make strides towards the 2011 NBA Playoffs. Portland has been plagued with so many injuries that them receiving a playoff bid seems like a miracle to the many Trailblazers fans that have remained faithful to their team’s cause. Fernandez has been an instrumental part in this accomplishment because he participates in their most successful pick and roll situations and has the ability to disrupt the other’s teams offensive mindset with steals and good defense.
Tuesday night against the Dallas Mavericks, he was playing to the strengths of LA and Brandon Roy so well that his name was often mentioned by the commentators as one of the main reasons they were able to peel off with a 104-101 victory, after Dirk Nowitzki botched a three-point attempt at the end of the fourth quarter, failing to send the game into over time. Despite vision issues, Fernandez has an eye for the three-pointer that gives anyone they contend against the shivers.
The team is so underrated but anyone facing them should be well aware of how much they have grown despite the trials they have faced this year. Fernandez will be front and center welcoming any more challenges waiting to greet Portland with a smile on his face and his three goggles well adjusted.

I Hate To Hear That Teams are So underrated! Smh but I’m happy that they have people like Fernandez to help them get the attention they deserve one way or another and help the team get record scoring points.
