While watching highlights of the Miami Heat vs. Washington Wizards game, I saw LeBron make another amazing steal and turned it into a huge offensive play on the other end of the court, with the help of Eddie House. When watching him play, it makes you realize how influential he is to the pace of any game he and you are reminded of why he was so effective in Cleveland.
Even with all of that said, will he ever be able to return to his hometown to be crowned the greatest player in Cleveland Cavaliers franchise history?

Not in the least bit. He deserves the mention and ceremony, but with the fans of Ohio being so emotionally invested in their sports and keeping in mind how messy the divorce from King James was, I doubt that anyone will be able to swallow their pride to admit his contributions. As far as basketball is concerned, he is by far the greatest player that the city has ever had wear their jersey.
Anytime a single soul can make that much of a difference in a season by leaving, they deserve the recognition and respect of his peers– and he receives that. However, Dan Gilbert will never allow him to step back onto the court and wave at the crowd while receiving an honor that Gilbert will never say that James deserves. Is it fair? Not really. But, in the game of basketball, emotions run so high and Cleveland felt like they gave him everything he could have ever asked for and he still walked away.
The organization as a whole does understand why he did it, but they will never forgive the way he did it. With that said, I do not believe we will ever see the day where LeBron will be able to go home and feel like royalty again.

True. I Do Respect Lebron I mean it wasn’t easy, I Know cleaveland might feel betrade but look at him as a player…
Honestly he might never get that recognition because he handled the situation really bad. Look at Carmelo he left Denver and no one really bashed him for it. Well at least not to Lebron extent. Honestly it’s ok if he doesn’t he didn’t get the city a championship why does he deserve a crown. He didn’t do nothing special for the city besides he turned his back on them. He ain’t worthy of being called a King. What’s so good about being a good player if he don’t have rings. If he does win one in Miami it won’t mean a lot because he had good players on his team.
Its alot of good players without rings…Karl Malone, Stockton, charles Barkely…you cant judge the amount of talent one person has on rings the NBA is a team sport one or two people are not going to win a ring. Before any of those players came to the Cavs you didnt know who they were, Bron made them better and known to the sports world.
