Okay, ladies and gentlemen. Before you react to the quotes I relay from Indiana Pacers’ Danny Granger, I would like you to keep a few things in mind.
Now, that we have explored those avenues, here are the comments made by Danny Granger via ESPN.com about Joakim Noah’s hard hitting play against the Pacers on Tuesday:
“He pulled a cowardly move. He cheap-shotted a couple of my teammates, and one gets thrown out. The refs never catch what he did … it’s cowardly. And I’m going to say something about it. I wanted to say something about it all the way to the game was over. I just don’t think the game should be played that way. You can play hard and fight and battle, but when you start cheap-shotting people it gets out of hand.”
This is where it gets a little tricky for me, because I do not recall Danny Granger speaking up about how Jeff Foster was swatting Derrick Rose and Luol Deng across the entire court. He was praised for his defensive efforts, but when Joakim Noah returns the physical play, he is wrong? I do not think so. It seems like Granger needs to learn a little bit more about playoffs, before he returns.
Scottie Pippen, a Chicago Bulls legend, let his voice be heard loud and clear about how he wanted his former team to retaliate against Indiana. Chicago had been playing like rookies stepping on egg shells against the Pacers, and up until last night was not giving them a taste of their own medicine. They just refused to look like the punks Indiana was spotlighting them as. Should they be looked down upon for it?

You guys are absolutely RIGHT! Joakim shouldn’t be punished for returning a players harsh words as plays on the court! He had every right to do so people seem to forget this is their asses basically! Its the playoffs!
