With the NBA lockout over and the Christmas season in full swing, things are starting to seem regular again. The die-hard NBA fan can get it’s fix starting on Christmas day, what a present huh? Can’t wait, can’t wait(Bart Scott voice). The Christmas Day schedule is looking like it’s going to be something special. Right now the frantic fast paced free agent signing period has many fans on edge wondering what moves their teams are gonna make, and critiquing the moves already made. The New York Knicks, with the addition of Tyson Chandler, have formed a pretty formidable front line. The Dallas Mavericks will try to defend their crown with the addition of the reigning sixth man of the year Lamar Odom.
With superstars Dwight Howard and Chris Paul forcing trades out of their respective cities, the balance of power in the league is not yet set. David Stern vetoed a potential move that would have sent Paul to The Lakers, siting reasons of The Hornets not getting enough in return for the All-star guard. With a new deal on the table in which Paul is headed to The Clippers to throw oops to Blake Griffin; in exchange for Chris Kaman, Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe, and a first round 2012 pick. Am I missing something? Someone help me understand this. If the league approves what in my estimation is a lesser deal, than the one originally presented which had The Hornets receiving Scola, Dragic, Kevin Martin, Odom and some picks, something’s gonna smell like a dead body. NBA fans lets get ready to enjoy a 66 game season full of intrigue coming our way, let’s go.
Where will Howard end up? How will the aging Celtics do this season? Can the Heat get it done this season? Were the Grizzlies a one year wonder? Can Durant and Westbrook share the spotlight? Will D. Rose get the scoring help he needs? Will the Mavs suffer from Chandlers exit? Stay tuned fans, and Let’s have basketball!!! @boemoney1

I am so ecstatic that Chris Paul is finally heading to your Clippers. I genuinely imagine that they will be a contender this calendar year. What does one feel?
