The most entertaining things about the lockout have not necessarily been the schedule release or the fact that the Christmas day games have officially be announced. Those things are great runner-ups but what has captured NBA fans’ attention the most is undoubtedly all of the hoopla surrounding some of these ridiculous trade rumors.

You know the ones that if you speak up enough, they seem more and more like the truth.

My hat goes off to the Los Angeles Lakers if they are able to land one of the most popular trade rumors to date as they are reportedly aiming to recruit both Chris Paul AND Dwight Howard from the New Orleans Hornets and the Orlando Magic. It would be a hell of a move that would balance the weight that both the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks have stacked their rosters with. [..]

The New York Knicks have evolved into a respectable option in the postseason, managing to land the hometown hero in Carmelo Anthony. While the team received much criticism, Mike D’Antoni crept through the skepticism. He coached two superstars to share the burden of Madison Square Garden and the expectations that accompany it while hearing his coaching methods being questioned every day from a variety of sources.

As it stands, the Knicks might be the likely suitor.  The issue in my opinion, is the Nuggets are asking for way too much! [..]
